Read the trees first

Around Janov, Hrabětice and Bedřichov, use the trees as your first clue. Spruce milkcaps are associated with spruce; porcini and bay boletes suit conifer and mixed-woodland study. Beech and birch add different neighbours. A green carpet of moss alone cannot tell you which mushroom you have.
